Presidential candidate of the Convention Peoples Party in the 2016 general elections, Ivor Greenstreet says he is open to any role he may be considered to play under the Akufo-Addo led government.

In an interview with Ghanaweb, Ivor Greenstreet explained that every government comes in with its vision and set objectives it hopes to achieve within a certain period and a roadmap to achieving those objectives, therefore, if he is called upon to serve in any capacity, he is willing to do so.

The former Presidential aspirant managed to poll 25,395 of the about 10,108,149 votes cast representing 0.24%, making his party the fourth highest in terms of votes in the 2016 general election.

Ivor Greenstreet cited past instances where people served in Military governments that toppled their administration and other people from different political parties that willingly served in the winning party's government.

He added that he believed it was a requirement if called upon to make oneself available to serve.
