Nana Obiri Boahen, NPP Deputy General Secretary Nana Obiri Boahen, NPP Deputy General Secretary

The Deputy General Secretary of the incumbent New Patriotic Party(NPP), Nana Obiri Boahen has said he will build another Nsawam prison to jail members of the opposition NDC if he is made the head of the yet to be established special prosecutor service.

He said the NPP's brief stay in governance has exhumed extreme corrupt and greedy practices by the majority of NDC people who served under the Mahama administration.

Asked by Kofi Marfo (Sir Richie) during a political discussion on a London-based radio station, Hot digital online, whether he would extend the Nsawam prisons if he has the chance, Nana Obiri Boahen lamented that ,not only will he expand the prisons but will in fact build another one to accommodate National Democratic Congress (NDC) political criminals.

The deputy general secretary added, he has never come across a multitude of white coloured political criminals like members of the National Democratic Congress who have poorly mismanaged Ghana since our liberation from the colonial yoke...Nana Obiri said the Mahama-led administration ruled Ghana like medieval fiefdoms, looting the faltering the economy and through shocking mismanagement creating hardships and famine for ordinary Ghanaians.

He said not only did the Mahama-led administration personalise the wealth of Ghana, but also confined non-political Ghanaian's to abject poverty, unemployment and inadequate health facilities.

Kofi Adams

Asked about the lawsuit by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Organiser, Kofi Adams, for defamatory comment, the New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s Nana Obiri Boahen said he has not been officially served with any summons and if it happens he will courageously meet Kofi Adams at the court of laws.

Nana Obiri Boahen praised the efforts of Kwame Baffoe, alias Abronye DC (Brong Ahafo Youth Organiser) in assisting the state to retrieve more than 25 vehicles from some NDC members. He said that is well deserved of a good and faithful citizen of Ghana.

He also urged the general secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) party, Johnson Asiedu Nketia to refrain from any unnecessary criticism of the NPP party or risk getting humiliated by him.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s Deputy General Secretary Nana Obiri Boahen, concluded by saying, former President John Dramani Mahama must bow his head in shame for tasking President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to retrieve the GHc51 million Alfred Agbesi Woyome owes to the state
