Rev. Dr Jung-Hyun Oh on his part presented President Akufo-Addo with a “Geobukseon” a miniature iron ship from Korea. It is also known as turtle or iron ship in western descriptions, and it was a type of large Korean warship that was used intermittently by the Royal Korean Navy during the Joseon dynasty from the early 15th century up until the 19th century.

The deck of the actual ship he explained was covered with iron spikes to discourage the enemies of Korea from attempting to board the ship in times of war.

“Our gospel partnership for God is not a cruise ship but a war ship” the inscription on the gift read.
