Minister for gender and children protection, Otiko Djaba has revealed that she wished she was pregnant with a child but for her "old age".
Addressing a gathering at the launch of the Obaasima seal in Accra, the gender minister revealed that pregnancy among Ghanaian women continues to be one of a challenge considering the fact the 60 percent of all pregnant women in the country are anemic.
"I wish I got pregnant, but I am 55 and looking at my age, it may not be possible," the gender minister joked.
The Obaasima seal forms part of the government's resolve to ensure optimum nutrition of mothers and girl-children in Ghana.
