An expert in Information Communication Technology, Fred Amankwah Sarfo, has declared his intention to contest for the National Chairman position of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) the party goes to the polls next year.
Sarfo made this declaration in a campaign poster advertising himself as ‘NPP National Chairman Aspirant’, a poster which is widely circulating on social media.
In the said campaign poster released on May Day, Sarfo is seen celebrating hardworking Ghanaian workers who form the strong foundation which the economy is built on.
He is also seen celebrating hardworking NPP faithful who have contributed immensely in the success story of the party and promising to institute a reward and recognition system that seeks to maintain hardworking faithful in the party when voted into office.
“I join the May Day celebration today to turn our minds to the substantial contributions of workers of our great party (both paid and unpaid) at all levels (from grassroots/foot soldiers to the top hierarchy of our party structures).”
“In the next leadership of the party, I seek to institute a reward and recognition system to maintain the high involvement of party faithful across the country when given the nod,” he added.
In 2014, Fred Amankwah Sarfo joined the NPP Vic-Chairmanship race but lost.
