The International Youth Empowerment Summit (IYES) Foundation has rewarded the best graduating pupil of the Greats Minds International School a lifetime scholarship.
Asibey Frimpong Christian received this honour for his excellent performance during the graduation ceremony of pupils from class six to Junior High School.
The scholarship forms part of activities by the IYES Foundation geared towards improving the lives of the youth.
Asibey Frimpong Christain's scholarship will cater for his educational needs from Junior High School till he completes University.
''I'm really happy to receive this scholarship because I had no other option of furthering my education as my parents are very poor. But after I got enrolled in GMIS for free, courtesy ''Lilwin'', I know one day my dream of becoming a doctor would come true,'' Asibey Frimpong said.
The educational package was presented to him by the founder of IYES,Pastor Brian Amoateng at this year' event at the National Theatre.
Great Minds International School was established by Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah popularly known as Lil Win.
The iYes Foundation, founded by Pastor Brian Amoateng of Brian Jones Ministries, also supported the school's infrastructural development project with a sum of GH¢5,000 in addition to 20 bags of cement.
