It was all joy and excitement on the faces of some street hawkers selling Verna Water in Accra as they became the special focus of celebration by the company.
As part of celebrating these industrious women, Verna donated GH¢5000 each to three hardworking individuals, recognizing their dedication and perseverance in their trades.
Gloria, one of the women celebrated, shared that she has been selling Verna Water for the past three years. Through her hard work, she said she has managed to put her child through school and has been able to cover her rent with the income she earns.
“I am Gloria. I have been selling water for three years now. I make good profit from selling Verna Water. I’m able to cater for my child’s school needs, pay my rent and others,” she stated.
Gloria further said that selling Verna Water has been a rewarding venture for her, allowing her to earn a good profit and improve her livelihood.
Grace Walker, another dedicated seller, explained that she has been selling Verna Water for the past three years.
She shared how profitable the venture has been for her, enabling her to support her child’s education and cover her rent comfortably.
She stated, “It’s really a profitable work. That’s what I used to see my child through school and I pay my rent through selling it. I am glad doing this work.”
Lastly, Janet, who has been in the water business for the past 15 years, shared how selling water has helped her.
Through this venture, she said she has also been able to support her children’s education.
“That’s what I have been using to see my children through school till now,” Janet said.
To wrap up the celebration with joy on their faces, Verna Water presented each woman with a sum of GH¢5000.
This generous gesture aims to support their businesses and recognise their hard work and dedication.
