Internet Scam! …Esther Wiredu’s Name Pops Up

(1)

From the Citizen News Desk

Be careful of the kind of friends and association you enter into via the power of the internet because these days certain individuals and groups are using this medium to defraud gullible individuals of their wealth and priced assets.
Mr. Rockson Asare, a United State of America based Ghanaian businessman who deals in photographic Materials, unfortunately fell victim to this 21st century means of con cum thievery. The perpetrator of Mr. Asare’s problem is Ms. Esther Wiredu also known as Ama Serwaah, a fair skinned and beautiful Ghanaian lady who works with Credit Reference Bureau as Secretary in Accra, the capital city of Ghana.
Her modus operandi is simple but cunning; she uses her God-given women attributes and endowments such as seductive pictures, carefully crafted erotic words and messages, sends them to unsuspecting men through multiple e-mail addresses, dates them with the sole aim of duping them.
It is alleged that after accomplishing her mission, she will then dump her victim and then move on to her next prey.
Mr. Rockson Asare told The Citizen from his U. S base that, the lady started her amorous adventures and moves towards him in the year 2008 via e-mail laced with sexually suggestive words and pictures.
He said their association then develops into a platonic cum business relationship. Based on this relationship, the lady, according to him, asked him to send down some of the photographic materials to be sold for him because she (Esther Wiredu) also deals in the same business.
Mr. Asare said he sent the items worth Gh?3000 (30 million old Ghana cedis) through Mr. Kwame Sarpong who dully delivered the said items to the lady in question in the presence of her grandmother (name withheld for now).
Mr. Asare said the agreement was that the proceeds from the products should be given to Mr. Sarpong for onwards delivery to him, adding that when the time was due for Esther Wiredu to give the proceeds of the items to Mr. Kwame Sarpong, she began playing pranks with him and later reneged on her earlier promise claiming she would not be in a position to pay because the items were stolen by thieves from her shop.
But when the grandmother of Esther Wiredu was contacted because she was present when the items were given to her granddaughter, she explained categorically and emphatically that the tales by her granddaughter that the said items were stolen from the shop were false and complete fabrication, adding that the items were indeed sold by her.
Mr. Asare said by this publication, he is calling on other men not to deal with her because this is the trick she has adopted to dupe gullible individuals. According to him, the lady in question allegedly opened seven e-mail addresses in pursuit of her criminal and nefarious activity.
Some of the alleged addresses are amasewah1@yahoo .com, amafosua1@yahoo.com, estandria@ yahoo.com and andriastephens @ yahoo.com.
When Ms. Esther Wiredu was contacted for her side of the story, she recounted the tales she told Mr. Asare that the items were stolen, adding that she even asked Mr. Asare to give her one year grace period in order for her to pay the said amount.
She touted her credentials by saying she is a very nice and good person and even urged this reporter to verify her claim from a lady by name Perpetual, lawyer Aikens and Lawyer Asare.
Asked to comment with respect to her relationship with the U.S based businessman, Ms. Wiredu said Mr. Asare wanted her but when she came to the realization that he was having what she described as “phone sex” with her friend, Vera Osei Owusu, her interest in him waned. But the e-mail she sends to Mr. Asare intercepted by this paper indicates that she was the one who was flaunting her sexuality to Mr. Asare and making the approach.
Ms. Wiredu interspersed her reaction with insults on the person of Mr. Asare using several unprintable words but because of this paper’s principle to promote decency and professionalism in the discharge of its duty, it would not repeat her diatribe.
Dossier of Esther Wiredu aka Ama Serwaa
She is from Anyinam, a daughter of a late bank manager and former Barclays Bank employee, now secretary of Credit Reference Bureau.
The Citizen initially gathered that, Mr. Asare made it clear to her that she looked too sophisticated for him but she kept telling him to believe in himself and started sending very seductive messages.
This reporter learnt that Ms. Wiredu then started making outrageous demands: today buy me this; tomorrow buy me that brand name. She eventually fills her wardrobe by preying on men living overseas.
Checks conducted by this paper indicate that she introduced her friend and former classmate called Akua Akoto a.k.a Vera Osei Owusu from Akim Tafo to Mr. Asare. Her friend later begged the U. S based businessman for Gh?3000 to purchase a product for a business which was given to her. Ms. Akoto later told Mr. Asare that he should be careful because Ms. Wiredu preys on men living overseas for her parochial interest and that one of such men came from London to look for her.
Sensing danger, Ms. Akoto said Ms Wiredu went into hiding. When Mr. Asare got to know of her true motives, he called her (Wiredu) to demand his money, Ms. Wiredu told him that she had travelled to Abidjan.
Mr. Asare‘s investigation indicated she was lying because when he called the telephone of her place of work and being the secretary, she realized it was him and so she refused to answer the call and rather asked a co- worker (Yvonne) to pick the call. The co-worker then told him Esther Wiredu had left the desk and was therefore not available.
This paper has found out that when Esther’s conduct got to the attention of her grandmother, the grandmother scolded her. Ms. Esther Wiredu became agitated and does not visit her again.
The Citizen has established that Ms. Wiredu’s friend (Akua Akoto) has also refused to pay the money Mr. Asare had advanced to her and also absconded. Mr. Asare said he has been duped to the tune of Gh?6000 as a result of her association with Ms. Esther Wiredu and Akua Akoto.
The information below is one of the numerous sexually suggestive and explicit e-mails the lady at the centre of this fraud sends to Mr. Asare.

How are you honey
Many thanks for your advice. In fact am very particular about my weight. I take heavy lunch (my so called heavy lunch is someone's light lunch) and don’t eat anything in the evenings.
I've done this for more than 10 years.
I sometimes do exercises at home as well in the evenings.
Yes I also love you and can’t imagine my breast being played with or being sucked by you. I like that very much. You are my taste.
I enjoy romancing more than the real act so we click. I also enjoyed my clit being played with or being fingered whilst my breast is in your mouth
I also love you dearly, and all I need from you is commitment and anything you think you can do to assure me of your love or let me know you really care. That is also important to me
I like your voice and smiles - I told you this morning and I really mean it. Voice is very very important to me.
You know what - since morning I've been lingering for my breast to be in your mouth with one of your hands playing with my clit.
I don’t know why I am having that feeling.
You are 100% my taste. The type of man I've been looking for.
Am looking for a true friend, a brother, a father as well as a husband and I think you have all these qualities.
Hugs and always remember, Ama loves you dearly.
Long deep kisses.
