Former Deputy Minister for Communications, Victoria Hamah, has sent tongues wagging after saying “may we find true love in 2025.”
In a Facebook post on New Year’s Day, Ms. Hamah said love is the only thing that can make a woman blossom.
The gender activist is currently not married but has also kept her relationship status away from the eyes of the public.
Her latest post, though, has led to some of her social media followers being of the view that she’s ready to give love a chance in 2025.
“It’s only love that makes a woman blossom. May we find true love in 2025,” she wrote on her Facebook page on Wednesday.
Last year, Ms. Hamah left her followers confused following a similarly mystifying post on her social media page.
In May 2024, she wrote that she was finally available after an arduous journey in the last decade.
Her post on Facebook read: “I'm finally available! And it took an arduous journey of 11 years.”
With Ms. Hamah not providing any further details or context to the said post, it left many of her followers confused and reading their own meanings into it.
While some decoded her post to mean she was now available for a relationship, others also linked it to the $1 million controversy she was involved in 12 years ago.
Ms. Hamah is the Executive Director of the Progressive Organisation for Women Advancement (POWA).
