Isaac Osei Donates 21,000 Mathematical Sets

ISAAC OSEI DONATES 21,000 MATHEMATICAL SETS TO MARK HIS THIRD ATTEMPT TOWARDS HIS RE-ELECTION AS SUBIN MP

The MP for Subin Constituency, Isaac Osei has donated 2,500 mathematical sets to the Ahmadiyya SHS in Kumasi as part of the distribution of 21,000 mathematical sets to all JHS and SHS students within the Subin Constituency.

This free distribution of mathematical sets is a personally financed project by the Subin legislator which is valued around GHC105, 000.00

Addressing the students, Isaac Osei admonished them to take advantage of the opportunities being offered in the school to enable them go out in the world to do something for themselves and their communities.

He added that, "We have come to present to you some mathematical sets which are very important not only in the study of mathematics but in other disciplines".

"I am doing this to mark my third (3) attempts to become your MP. On this occasion, I am not using any funds by government but with my personal funds", he stressed.

On his part, the headmaster of the school, Alhaji Abubakar, thanked the Subin MP for the free mathematical sets which are to be distributed to each student in order to aid their academic work. He further praised him for his numerous contributions towards the welfare and development of the school which include the construction of a mechanized borehole for the boy's dormitory and a biogas digester system.

Earlier on, Isaac Osei visited a mosque which also doubles as an Islamic school that was raged by fire at Afful Nkwanta in Subin. He donated GHC1000.00 to the victims and promised to support in the rehabilitation of the gutted mosque.
