Former president John Dramani Mahama has revealed in a post how different his 59th birthday was from previous ones he celebrated.
“It certainly feels different…” were some words in the former president‘s caption of a photo she shared where he is seen having breakfast with two of his children, Jesse and Farida.
“Always a great pleasure and a rare privilege to make time for breakfast with Jesse and Farida. @59, though it certainly feels different, more meaningful and special!,” he wrote.
Mahama during his term in office as President mostly celebrated his birthdays by either visiting some orphanages or making donations to support good causes among others.
This year took a different turn particularly because he is no longer President and so had the luxury of spending some quality time with his family.
The former president is loved by many Ghanaians for the family values he projected during his presidency and have since his loss in December 2016, been living a relatively low-profile life except for his occasional jabs targeted at the ruling government, the NPP.
