A prophet of God has warned that pastors who extort monies from their congregants in the name of miracles risk bringing curses upon themselves.

According to Prophet Daniel Owusu Bempah of the Glory Prayer Ministry, it has become a normal practice that most fake pastors rip off their congregants.

He said most so-called men of God are taking advantage of the plights of the congregants to extort monies from them.

Speaking on the EMERE (Time) show hosted by Maurice on Asempa FM, the pastor said it is even wrong to demand consultation fees before attending to people who need help.

He warned that those pastors charting such paths must stop, or incur the wrath of God. He said such men of God and their family members risk bringing curses upon themselves.

“Any pastor who charge consultation fee will bring curses on his children. It is clear they are simply not interested in the salvation of the people. Clearly, pastors are confused, and many are corrupt but not all have evil intentions,” he cautioned.

Prophet Bempah added the right thing to do is to allow congregants give willingly give from their hearts.

According to him, “my ministry wants to see sanity in the body of Christ so I won’t force my members for offering”.

He further stated that if men of God want to charge consultation fees, then they should equally be taxed for their returns.
