Samuel Abu Jinapor, the Member of Parliament for Damango and Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, has refuted allegations of interference in chieftaincy matters.
In a statement, the minister said his attention had been drawn to reports on social media and traditional media suggesting that he was meddling in Gonja chieftaincy matters in general and Damango in particular.
According to him, he has no interest in the chieftaincy issues in Damango and Gonja. He has therefore asked the general public to ignore the claims, stating that his interest lies in the development of the constituency and Ghana as a whole.
