Jinapor to seek partnerships for sustainable mining development in Africa

The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel A. Jinapor, will deliver a keynote address at the 2024 Mining On Top Africa Conference, scheduled to take place from Wednesday, July 3, to Thursday July 4, 2024 in Paris France.

This prestigious event brings together Ministers from various African countries and prominent industry stakeholders for a two-day summit focused on fostering partnerships between European and African nations for the sustainable exploration and development of mineral resources.

As a distinguished speaker, Jinapor will address an esteemed audience, sharing insights on the current state of Ghana's mining sector and exploring opportunities for collaboration between African and European countries to promote inclusive and sustainable development.

His address is expected to delve into various aspects of cooperation, including areas where African companies and countries can work together with European counterparts to drive growth and progress in the mining industry.

The conference provides a platform for stakeholders to engage in meaningful discussions, exchange ideas, and forge strategic partnerships, ultimately contributing to the advancement of the mining sector in Africa and beyond.

Mr. Martin Ayisi, the Chief Executive Officer of the Minerals Commission, is also expected to participate in a panel discussion on effective exploration and exploitation of resources.
