John Boadu dodges question on Afoko, Crabbe sack

John Boadu has subtly dodged question on claim by Hon. Osei-Kyei Mensah-Bonsu that the ruling NPP has sacked beleaguered former executives, Paul Afoko and Sammy Crabbe from the party.

Speaking on Okay FM on Friday, the General Secretary of the NPP indicated that if he responds to the claims, it will appear he has passed judgment on the matter.

“I will not comment on the majority leader’s claim that the duo has been expelled from the party by virtue of the fact that they have sued the party in court.

“It is for the party to announce their intentions and their decision on the issue. So if I attempt to explain matters, it will seem I have passed judgment already. I will abstain from this question,” has said.

He however cited the example that, if a teacher is sanctioned over a rape or defilement, he is not allowed to practice until the sanctions are lifted.

But Nana Yaw Osei, aide to Paul Afoko has said that the position for which the former executives were suspended from has expired, hence suspension is null and void as they no longer act in those capacities any longer; and thus they can serve on committees in the party.
