John Kwame Duodu appeals for calm, unity in NPP

John Kwame Duodu, who serves as the First Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency and also the Ashanti Regional TESCON Patron, has made a passionate appeal to all NPP members and sympathizers to remain calm and focused as the party navigates the challenges of
the 2024 election.

Speaking on recent developments within the party, John Kwame Duodu emphasized the need for collective efforts, stressing that 'every member is crucial in ensuring victory in the next political contest.

He acknowledged that some individuals and party leaders may have acted in ways that displeased others. He urged every supporter to prioritize the Party’s interests over personal grievances.

Citing the recent public expressions of frustration and supposed victimisation by Adwoa Safo, the former Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection, John Kwame Duodu pleaded with the former MP of Dome-Kwabenya to exercise patience and remain committed to the Party’s cause.

He further advised the youth of the party to be cautious about taking sides in internal disagreements, reminding them that unity is key in putting the Party on the path of victory ahead of 2028.

“We will soon be engaging in a major political battle with the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and we need every single member onboard,” he stated.

“Now is not the time for division. Let us keep our eyes on the ball and work together to protect and strengthen the Mother Elephant, Sir John opined.
