A flyer has surfaced on social media giving credence to claims that former Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Joseph Yamin is now an Evangelist after graduating from the Bible School.

Many were doubtful of claims made by Head Pastor of the Life Community Church, Bishop Harrison Amoateng that the loud-mouth National Democratic Congress (NDC) man was a man of God until mynewsgh.com spotted a flyer in which he was referred to as Reverend Joseph Yammin.

In the announcement, he was billed to speak at the Church’s Sunday service as the Guest Speaker with Bishop Harrison Amoateng as host.

The Former Deputy Coordinator of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) himself maintained on Kumasi-based Ultimate Fm he is into full Ministry as an evangelist contrary to claims he cannot be a politician and serve God.

“I am still a practicing evangelist and now I have graduated into the realms of a reverend after attending the Bible school of Bishop Harrison.

“I am noted for being a loud mouth politician but I try to distance the church from politics because in our political circles, some perceive it to be a dirty game and I want to distance the cleanness of God from politics.

“When I am in church and I am doing the work of God, I do it devoid of politics and I have been practicing this since 1993 when I was in Prempeh College”

According to Bishop Harrison, Joseph Yamin was one of the pioneers of the Pentecostal Students Association movement in Prempeh College.

He said “Joseph was a very serious and a professing evangelist. This was in 1993, 1994 and 1995 and he has been in ministry all this while. Even in secondary school, it got to a point, form three, he nearly left campus to go do ministry”
