Host of "Maakye' morning show on Accra-based Hot 93.9FM, Isaac Boamah Darko has a given an account of how the self-acclaimed pastor and NDC enthusiast 'Apostle' Kwamena Owusu Agyei was arrested after threatening to kill the EC Chairperson.
Apostle Owusu Agyei was arrested by some personnel of the National Security while he was granting a live interview at a hideout at Greda Estate in Accra.
Narrating what led to the apprehension, Boamah Darko noted that the outfit has planned to get the pastor to retract his statement and apologise to Mrs Jean Mensa and President Akufo-Addo for the derogatory comments but that could not be materialized.
The "Maakye" morning show intimated that he was disappointed he was being bombarded over allegations that; he planned the arrest of Apostle Agyei.
He stressed that that wasn't the motive behind the interview.
"We made sure no one was aware of the location of Apostle Agyei during the interview and was even shocked when the BNI arrived at the premises," Boamah Darko explained.
“We even asked the security men who came to him for their arrest warrant and ID cards," he furthered.
