The ramp-up in oil output from Tullow Oil PLC's (TLW.LN) Jubilee field in Ghana to 120,000 barrels a day will take six months, a little longer than hoped, said the company's Chief Operating Officer Paul McDade Thursday.
Tullow said last year it would hit the 120,000-barrel-a-day plateau for the first phase of Jubilee, up from 55,000 barrels a day currently, within three to six months. The slight delay is because of more than expected downtime on the Erik Raude drilling rig operating offshore Ghana, McDade said.
