Juju Hits Burma Camp

Strange things are happening at the Head quarters of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) as officers and men have resorted to the use of black magic, otherwise known as ‘juju’ or ‘voodoo’ for protection, attack and seeking goodwill.

This has led to a number of deaths under exceptionally bizarre circumstances as well as some officers suffering from strange ailments that Doctors have described as “not one meant for a hospital”.

Military sources told DAYBREAK that the High Command is bending over backwards to cover-up the development but they have not been able to explain the circumstances under which a black earthenware pot with seven eggs from a local breed fowl, some pieces of kola nuts, some nails, needles and other indescribable objects were found under the driver’s seat of a well known Lieutenant Colonel

Two weeks after the strange earthenware pot was discovered, the Lieutenant Colonel took to a strange illness and died at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra while Specialist Doctors remained confused about the type of ailment. He died on Monday, 13th September 2010.

Military sources say the Lieutenant Colonel used to be the Commanding Officer of the Defence Mechanical Transport Battalion in Burma Camp but was recently posted to the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) as a member of the Directing Staff in charge of Logistics

He fell ill and died barely a week after taking up his new post and though not proven beyond doubt, talks among his peers say he was killed through the use of black magic by persons who felt envious of his new post.

A colleague officer of the late Lieutenant Colonel had sent the said vehicle for repairs at a mechanic workshop and that was where the juju was detected after mechanics had repaired every fault on the vehicle but it still would not spark.

In course of trying to find why the vehicle was not sparking, the juju pot was found under the driver’s seat and the contents of the black earthenware pot had been fitted into a woven piece of cotton and powder-like substance.

The soldier who drove the vehicle to the mechanic shop was called to see for himself the strange discovery and the contents of the pot. He in turn called the wife of the Lieutenant Colonel to have a look at the mysterious bowl and its contents.

DAYBREAK gathered that another juju drama had been unfolding at the camp as another group of officers are reportedly visiting fetish shrines so as to eliminate a certain Colonel who was a former Director of Manpower Planning (DMP).

DAYBREAK has gathered that the particular Colonel has also been ‘spiritually baked’ thus the evil that was planned to befall him has rather befallen his attackers who are currently bed-ridden at the 37 Military Hospital.
