Renowned music producer Mr. Fred Kyei Mensah aka Uncle Fredima has disclosed on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that he has not received a pesewa from the previous or the current administration after 5 years of losing his music studio to the June 3 fire and water disaster in 2015.

Recounting his ordeal on the show, Uncle Fredima said he would never forget the scene of the disaster, which claimed over 200 lives.

According to him, it was a horrible experience for him and his family because life became unbearable for him.

The music producer told host Kwabena Agyapong he lost several works both old and new to the twin disaster.

"As a music historian, I kept the record of every musician I worked on. I had videos of Samini, Appietus and other top musicians and producers but I lost everything to the fire and water disaster".

In tears, Mr. Kyei Mensah said ‘’if for anything at all, I am grateful to God for my life. Many were those who died but I survived and so, whenever I remember the disaster, I appreciate my survival and not what I lost’’.

He eulogized Bishop Daniel Obinim for the support he gave him at the time saying the controversial man of God gave him a home and feed him and hiss family for two solid years.

‘’Bishop Obinim has a good heart. I have nothing against him, I don’t care what people think about him. He helped my family when we were faced with the challenges we went through,’’ he said.

‘’I lost hope, those I thought could help me, ignored me. A few helped but my dream of developing a new studio has not seen reality. I pray to God to help Bishop Obinim overcome his troubles,’’ he added.

‘’I was begging for food after the disaster happened. When I recount all these experiences, I only thank God for my life and that of my life.’’

He expressed disappointment in the ruling government for ignoring him despite the support he gave them during the 2016 campaign period.
