Justice Theodore Adzoe retires

Accra, Dec. 9, GNA - The Judicial Service announces the retirement from the bench of his Lordship Mr. Justice Theodore Kwami Adzoe, a justice of the Supreme Court with effect from October 31, 2008. The release, signed by the Director of Communications, Mr. D.A. Kwapong said Justice Adzoe joined the bench on July 26, 2000 as a justice of the Supreme Court after twenty seven-years of private legal

practice. He was sworn in on November 28, 2000. According to the release, Justice Adzoe attended E.P. Primary School, Taviefe, in the Volta Region from 1952 to 1957 and continued to E.P. Middle School, Taviefe from 1950 to 1960. He had his secondary school education at Peki Secondary Schol and Mfantsipim School and obtained the GCE Ordinary and Advanced Level certificates respectively in 1965 and 1967.

Justice Adzoe entered University of Ghana in 1968 to pursue L.L.B (Hons) and completed in 1971 and continued to the Ghana School of Law for the professional law course as a Barrister at Law. On behalf of Judicial Council and Judicial Service, the Chief Justice, Mrs. Georgina Theodora Wood expressed thanks to Mr. Justice Adzoe for this meritorious service to the nation and wished him well during his retirement.
