Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has undergone medical checkups ahead of the club’s preseason training and for the 2017/18 season.

The 28 year old was earlier reported to be leaving the Italian giants but with the imminent departure of Alexandro from the club, Juventus are keen on keeping the Ghanaian.

Kwadwo Asamoah has been linked with several clubs with Turkish side Galatasaray reported to have tabled a bid for the former Udinese player.

The versatile player had a troubled 2016/17 season because of injuries but has remained a key part of Coach Maximilliano Alergri’s plans.

Asamoah will hope he gets an injury free season following a series of medicals and a good preseason.

The Ghanaian has won 5 Italian titles with three Coppa Italia and 3 super coppa Italia with the Turin based side.
