General secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has revealed how deceased radio presenter of Asempa FM pushed him to reveal many political secrets.

Eulogising KABA hours after his untimely death, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah narrated how persistent and professional the seasoned political talk show host has been over the years since his passing.

“KABA always pushed me to reveal details I would have otherwise not have done in interviews…he always pushed us to reveal serious details,” he disclosed on Asempa FM.

The death of KABA sent shockwaves to Ghana's media fraternity as the Multimedia Group Limited went all red and black in memory of their colleague and employee.

Tributes keep pouring in as president of the republic, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo together with vice president Bawumia have expressed with shock the passing of the ace journalist.

Former president Mahama has also penciled his last words to the most loved and well-respected journalist.

KABA was the host of Asempa FM's political talk show, 'Ekosii Sen'. Prior to joining the Multimedia Group, KABA worked with Top Radio in Accra from 2004 – 2008.

He got married to another radio presenter, Valentina Ofori Afriyie in 2016 at Santasi in Kumasi and has a seven-month-old daughter. He recently was adjudged the Radio Talk Show Host of the Year at the 2017 RTP Awards in Accra.
