Former Deputy Minister of Education in charge of tertiary under the immediate past National Democratic Congress (NDC) government, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has said the late ace broadcaster with the Multimedia Group, Kwadwo Asare Baffuor Acheampong (KABA) was an exceptional journalist.

In a tribute on behalf of the NDC, he said the sorrow of leading members of the political divide is a clear manifestation he was a journalist who discharged his duties professionally.

“KABA was an exceptional journalist who did not call you with an agenda, no mischief intended. He was simply professional, balanced, fair he just wanted the best for his listeners. Just get to the bottom of the issues…….get to the facts, very personable and very warm. Ghana has lost a very talented journalist”, he disclosed at a memorial service at the forecourt of Joy FM

He observed that all political parties united in grieving his departure is indicative of the fact he had won the confidence of all of them observing that late afternoon political shows in the country will never be the same after his sudden demise.

“I can see colleagues from the various political parties. We all had confidence in the professionalism he exhibited every afternoon. If you came to the car park of parliament house, you will realize we all tuned in to listen to his talk show. Radio will never sound the same”, he added.
