KJM Foundation gives back as part of their year of return obligation

Many from all over the continent flew into Ghana to celebrate the 2019 Year of Return. After 400 years of slavery, Africans in the diaspora joined hands to celebrate the rich Ghanaian heritage.

Together we celebrated the true African history and culture. Amongst the numerous activities held during this festive season, giving back to the Ghanaian society was a goal for many while visiting Ghana.

In the spirit of giving back to Ghana, KJM Foundation and Green Book Travel donated a borehole to the people of Pepraw in Nsawam. As part of the clean water project across Ghana, we were honored to support access to clean, safe water.

The borehole commissioning was held on the 31st of December 2019. This momentous event was graced by many Ghanaians and African Americans in the diaspora all pledging their support towards a worthy cause.

Talk2Tiana surprised the community by donating clothes for women, men, and children. This act of generosity and kindness put smiles on the faces of many in pepraw giving them of one the best Christmas gifts ever. Bel-Aqua donated water.

Thanks to KJM Foundation and Green Book Travels Pepraw community now has clean drinking water to help support the community in reliable water and solutions to sanitation. KJM Foundation and Green Brook Travels looks forward to more partnerships to help us with our mission to build more water borehole for the people of Ghana.
