Kids in Tourism Ghana organizes the Annual Kids Tourism Fair 2019

The Kids in Tourism Ghana, in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority, Year of Return Ghana and the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture has organized the Annual Kids Tourism Fair.

The programme dubbed ‘Patriotism through tourism’ gave young children the platform to showcase Ghana’s tourism and cultural potentials to the world through several activities like cultural dances, choreography performances, ‘Wear Ghana’ show, and exhibitions.

Notable guests at the event were the Chairman, Akatakyie Nana Anim, CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Mr. Akwasi Agyeman and the Honorary Consul of the Botswana Consulate in Ghana, Hon. Thomas Otchere.

Kids in Tourism Ghana was officially launched on the 19th December 2015 under the Chairmanship of H.E Thomas Otchere, the Botswana Consular, and has since been held annually.

The event was held at the Efua Sutherland Children’s park, and will also be held at the Rattray Park in Kumasi on the 6th and 7th of December 2019.

Some schools which were present at the event are My Child International School, Curious Minds School, Atomic Hills Presbyterian School, Priston Academy, North Star School, Firm Foundation School, Antah Academy and many more.
