National Organizer for the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams, has rubbished the 20% rating of John Mahama on the fight against corruption by the flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo.

Speaking on GhOne TV's State of Affairs, Kofi Adams said that, Nana Addo doesn't qualify to rate President Mahama based on the fact that he always lies about figures anytime he's speaking on developmental issues.

"Nana Addo has constantly lied about cost of projects. In his recent public address, he lied about the Ridge hospital project. He had earlier lied about the Kasoa Interchange project. Mr. Akufo-Addo is making his corruption allegation on his own created stories which have been proven to be lies, and long dealt with.”

When confronted by GhanaPoliticsOnline.Com as to how he Kofi Adams will rate President Mahama on general performance and fighting corruption, Kofi Adams rated President Mahama 8 over 10.

“This is a president who has made it clear that he will not cover up corruption. He is proven this through various investigations and dismissals, retrievals or prosecution of offenders where applicable.

"President Mahama has made corruption a high risk venture; this is because he will let the law apply without executive cover up when found. In the past, governments used their authority to cover up corruption; a situation which is no more."
