The National Organizer of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams has given thumbs up to the party’s re-organization exercise across the country.

According to him, by the end of this month when the first phase of the re-organization is done, the party will be better placed to wrestle power from the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) come 2020.

He said registration was on-going at the branch level and this will ensure sanity in the management of the party at the branch levels.

He noted that this will prevent some individuals from hijacking the party’s register when it is time for the primary.

He outlined that these processes were informed by the outcome of the famous Prof. Botchwey Report which got its findings from about fifty people at the constituency level during a research to seek why the party lost the December 7, 2016 elections.

The immediate past campaign coordinator of the ex-president John Dramani Mahama campaign for the 2016 elections made this known on Happy FM’s ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show.

He said as part of the re-organization exercise the party will make branch meetings a norm at the branch levels unlike the first when meetings were only held when regional and national executives are visiting the branch.

The NDC is poised to making the branch levels fashionable in the administration of the party going forward in 2020.

He emphasized that the NDC was not going to release the Prof. Kwesi Botchwey as it has started working with the report towards the re-organization of the party.
