Vice President of the Imani Centre for Policy and Education (Imani Africa), Kofi Bentil, has asserted that, between the two leading contenders in the upcoming presidential election —John Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) — the latter is far superior, urging Ghanaians to vote for Dr. Bawumia as President.
Bentil emphasised that Dr. Bawumia is fresher, younger, stronger, more visionary, and performs better than former President Mahama, making him the ideal candidate to lead Ghana in the upcoming December 7, 2024 elections.
“Let’s give the power to the fresher, younger, stronger, more visionary, and better-performing Dr. Bawumia,” he wrote on social media.
The lawyer and policy analyst stated, “I am confident that Dr. Bawumia is light years ahead of former President John Mahama, and I stand by that today.”
Ghanaians will go to the polls on Saturday, December 7, 2024, to elect 276 members of Parliament and a President.
The race between Dr. Bawumia and John Mahama is intensely competitive, with either candidate capable of winning.
