Information Minister under the Akufo-Addo-led government, Lawyer Kojo Oppong Nkrumah earned himself a good slot at this year’s the ‘Made in Ghana Awards’ having been adjudged the Young Personality of the Year.
The Member of Parliament for Ofoase Ayirebi picked up the Award at the event which was organised at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra.
He was acknowledged for his numerous feats in various spheres in the country.
The MIGA is an initiative by Entrepreneur Foundation of Ghana (EFG) endorsed by the Ministry of Trade and Industry and Ghana Standards Authority to promote, advertise and market quality products and services in the country.
Kojo Oppong Nkrumah is a former host of Joy FM’s Super Morning Show. He left the media space in 2014 and ventured into active politics. He contested and won the Parliamentary seat at Ofoase Ayirebi under the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and was subsequently appointed as the deputy Minister for Information in 2017 and rose to become the Minister of Information in 2018. He explains that he joined active politics with the aim of causing greater change in the lives of people.

The sixth edition of the Made in Ghana Awards and Exhibition was under the theme “Promoting Industrialization, the key to job creation and Economic Development”.
