Headcoach of Asante Kotoko, Dzravko Lugarusic has revealed that most of the players recruited for the club, are not fit for the club.

According to reports, Lugarusic says if he were in charge during the pre-season, he would not have recruited most of the players.

Hence, he has requested the club to grant him the opportunity to bring in some Croatian players he deems can fit into his plan.

On the contrary, a section of the club are calling for his removal since according to them, he is not fit enough to coach the club.

It also alleged that, the fans see his 3-5-2 formation as not working for the team, but Lugarusic has stated that he will never renege on his 3-5-2 formation, because he believes if he had stuck to it in the Hearts match, he would have won the game.

Meanwhile some heads of the club’s supporter front are calling on the aggrieved fans to be patient with the coach, because it is too early in the season to ask the coach to go.
