Kufuor Turns NPP’S Punching Bag

For Deciding To Attend JM’s Inauguration…

…Kofi 1234, Kofi Dubai Lead Attack

The New Patriotic Party (NPP), yet to come to terms with the shameful defeat it suffered in the last December elections, is obviously on serious self-destruct exercise.

The exercise is targeted at no other person than ex-president John Agyekum Kufour, one of the most revered personalities within and arguably the embodiment of the NPP.

Certain key figures within the NPP are alleged to have sponsored some weightless young men to launch scathing attacks on the former President.

The former President’s crime has been his decision to attend last Monday’s swearing-in ceremony of President John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Party (NDC) in his capacity as a former President of the Republic of Ghana. The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) and its “serial loser” flagbearer Nana Akufo Addo, had decided not to be part of the occasion because of a petition it has filed at the Supreme Court challenging the Presidential outcome of the election as declared by the independent Electoral Commission (EC).

Following Kufour’s declaration to attend the investiture ceremony of President John Dramani Mahama, the youth group within the NPP, ‘Young Patriots’ hit town and subjected former President Kufour to pure insults, and threatened to place him under House Arrest should he decide to attend the national event. A serial caller based in Kumsai, Kofi Dubai, warned that former President should not attend the event, otherwise he would be a victim of shoe throwing, any time he visits his native Kumasi.

As if that was not enough, Kofi Dokyi Ampaw A.K.A Kofi 1234, last Friday stormed the studios of Multi Media’s Asempa FM and dared former President to attend the event. Dokyi Ampaw, who used a phony company under the Kufour administration to cream contract from the Ghana@50 Secretariat, also used harsh words on the otherwise nice gentleman.

Kofi 1234, who nearly warmed his way into the NPP Communication team, The Informer gathered, was induced by certain members of the Akyem cabal to go on air to attack the former President.

In fact, the NPP as a party has not come publicly to condemn the attacks on the former President.

However, a top gun of the NPP told The Informer that the former President deserves more than he was getting from the weightless young men, who are doing the bidding of the big men.

According to him, the manner the former President incited the young men of the party on December 8, 2012, to attack the Israeli Company upon suspicion of massaging the result of the election and subsequently his wanton attack on Dr. Kwadwo Afari Gyan and his Electoral Commission (EC), was not the best. “Today, it is obvious that former President Kufour is swallowing the same pills, because he thought them how to be violent,” he said.
