"Now that I have about two years ahead, I am sure of touring all the 200 constituencies to win the year 2000 elections for the NPP", Mr Kufuor, who was addressing a rally of NPP executives and supporters at Yendi, therefore, urged those who would attend the Party's congress at Sunyani on October 24 to elect him to lead the Party.

Mr Kufuor had earlier paid a courtesy call on Ya-Na Yakubu Andani the second, Paramount Chief of the Dagomba Traditional Area, at his palace in Yendi.

He said there is peace and harmony among the aspirants and urged all supporters to emulate them, and contribute to make the party stronger to win the next elections.

Alhaji Ali advised the people to vote for the NPP and Mr Kufuor in the next elections in order for them to get the development they deserve.
