Kwabena Agyepong's Double Standards Exposed!!

............... Special Assistant is Alan Kyerematen's Media Coordinator, who suggests NPP Delegates are insane

It has emerged that Special Assistant to Mr. Kwabena Agyepong, General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, also doubles as the Media Coordinator of Mr. Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, a presidential aspirant of the NPP, exposing the double standards being employed by the NPP General Secretary.

Davis Opoku Ansah, Kwabena Agyepong's special assistant, after Sunday's Super Delegates' Conference, which saw a humiliating defeat for his boss, has also suggested that the delegates of the NPP, who had overwhelmingly endorsed Nana Akufo-Addo, are insane.

In apparent reaction to the wisdom of the delegates to overwhelmingly endorse Nana Akufo-Addo by over 80%, Davis Opoku Ansah posted on his facebook wall , “The distance between insanity and genius is measured only by success”.

Earlier on Tuesday, Davis Opoku Ansah issued a statement purporting to be from some polling agents in the Central Region, which claimed to support the bid of Mr. Alan Kyerematen for October’s Main Congress. The statement further warned NPP Party elders to stop urging Mr. Kyerematen to step down, as has been done by Mr. Joe Ghartey who graciously pulled out of the October race after realizing that the Party was overwhelmingly behind Nana Akufo-Addo to lead the Party for the 2016 Election.

Mr. Opoku Ansah’s role in authoring the document was exposed after words posted much earlier on his Facebook wall were found in the statement by the supposed Polling Station agents. Just before the Special Delegates Congress and sensing the apparent heavy defeat ahead for his candidate, Opoku Ansah, sought to kill any arguments which would weaken the campaign of Mr. Kyerematen after he eventually suffered the heavy defeat at the Special Delegates Congress.

In one of such moves, he posted on his Facebook wall that “0.56% of the mandated kingmakers across the country are pruning the numbers from 7 to 5”. Interestingly, in the supposed statement from the Polling Station executives, these same words were smuggled in to their statement, exposing Opoku Ansah as the author of the statement. Unsurprisingly, the statement failed to identify who the supposed polling station executives are and the polling stations they represent.

The conduct of Davis Opoku Ansah, who has on numerous occasions insulted, vilified and maligned Nana Akufo-Addo on various social media platforms, flies in the face of the principles espoused by the Kwabena Agyepong who by his own admission, asked Perry Okudzeto to proceed on leave because, according to him, some of the staffers in the office of Perry Okudzeto were vilifying him and showing open support for Nana Akufo-Addo.

How Mr. Kwabena Agyapong has failed to apply these same principles to his special assistant not only exposes the double standards at play, but also exposes the real intentions of the General Secretary as someone who is not the least neutral in the internal contest of the NPP, as he wants to be seen, but fully supports the bid of Alan Kyerematen.

Mr. Agyepong cannot also claim ignorance of the actions of his Special Assistant as his role in the Alan Kyerematen campaign is an open secret. Mr. Opoku Ansah, a few weeks ago even organized and coordinated a Press Soiree, at which Mr. Kyerematen met dozens of journalists at the African Regent Hotel, an event Mr. Agyepong is fully aware of.
