The host of Abusua Nkommo on Abusua 96.5 FM, Kwame Adinkra has shamed road minister Kwasi Amoako Atta for his inability to remove the 4 roundabouts on the Kumasi-Ejisu stretch by December 2017 as promised during his tour in the Ashanti Region.
Mr. Amoako Atta had promised to remove the 4 roundabouts latest December 2017 and according to the ace broadcaster, no physical sign has been sighted at the Kumasi-Ejisu stretch by the minister’s outfit to suggest work will soon commence.
Kwame Adinkra argues that ”Road minister Amoako Atta has failed to remove the 4 roundabouts he promised to remove within the stipulated time and nothing, I mean nothing currently signals that something will soon be done on the road so how does he expect us to take his numerous promises serious”.
He continued ”This is the minister who promised the people of Kumasi that his outfit is putting measures in place to ensure Suame gets a mega interchange yet has failed to remove just 4 roundabouts within two months.
”We’re expecting the minister to immediately come out and explain to the good people of Kumasi his inability to fulfil his promises as we were made to believe during his tour in the region to expect the deplorable nature of roads, especially in Kumasi.
Kwame Adinkra in the last quarter of 2017 launched a campaign dubbed #Restoration of Garden City Roads#, a campaign which forced the sector minister to quickly embark on a road tour in Kumasi in November 2017.
