Former Ghana U23 player Kwame Poku was on target again for Peterborough United when they drew against Leyton Orient in English League One on Tuesday.

The English-born Ghanaian scored in his third consecutive game as Leyton rallied from behind to earn a 2-2 stalemate at Brisbane Road in London.

The home side opened the scoring after 20 minutes when Welsh defender Thomas James put them ahead.

Poku got the equalizing goal in the 42nd minute when he connected with a pass from youngster Malik Mothersille to level the game.

Mothersille converted a penalty kick on the brink of half-time to give Peterborough the lead.

A minute before the break, Ricky-Jade Jones was upended in the box by goalkeeper Zachary Hemming, and Mothersille coolly converted from the spot.

American forward Charlie Kelman leveled the score for Leyton following a deflected effort that beat goalkeeper Jed Steer in the 53rd minute.

English-born Ghanaian attacker Daniel Agyei was handed a starting role and lasted 80 minutes for Leyton in the match.

Poku has had a decent shift since the beginning of the 2024-25 campaign, having scored 5 goals in 7 appearances in League One.
