Kwasi Agyemang calls for unity in Asanteman Association Washington DC

The outgoing President of Asanteman Association of the Washington Metro Area, Mr. Samuel Kwasi Agyemang has urged members of the Association to exhibit a high sense of tolerance, decency and decorum so as to avoid needless personal attacks on fellow members. He noted that personal attacks and petty quarrels do not augur well for the association.

Speaking at a colorful and well organized end-of-year Christmas party and awards night on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Ghana Community Center in Alexandria, Virginia, Mr Kwasi Agyemang expressed his profound gratitude to the members for their unflinching support during his four years of stewardship and tasked all hands to be on deck for the coming year to move the association onto a higher pedestal of fame.

"Please, let Unity, Love and Peace prevail in our midst and also uphold the cultural values that define us as Asantes, namely, respect, understanding, love, hardwork, and above all unity", Mr. Kwasi Agyemang noted.

In an exclusive interview with reporters on the sidelines of the well-attended event, the indefatigable leader noted that, "peace is an enterprise and we cannot afford to waste our energies over trivialities that will only divide us".
