ember of parliament for Upper west Akyem, Honourable Joseph Sam Amankwanor has assured his support to strengthen the security in the constituency and has called on all to support security officers to make their work more easy. According to him it is the only way to create a condusive and peaceful environment for both inhabitants as well as investors.
Mr. Amoankwanor was speaking at a sod cutting ceremony to build a police station at Kwasi Nyarko, a community in between Adeiso and Nsawam in the eastern region. The building which is expected to be completed within three months will cost 85,00 cedis and is solely financed by the MP.
"I think it would go a long way to help communities in between Adeiso and Nsawam since people rely on services of police officers from these two communities whiles it will also provide security for market women who ply the road" hon Amoankwanor emphasised.
The member of parliament however called on ghanaians to support government in developing the economy as well as solving our economic challenges. He also appealed to ghanaians to come together and work hard to build Ghana instead politicising all issues.
Hon Amoankwanor also stated his plans of helping most of the youth in the creative sector to reduce unemployment in the constituency.
