Kwesi Pratt storms Akufo Addo's house

A known critic of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr, was among hundreds of supporters of NPP from the Eastern, Brong Ahafo, Northern and the Upper East region who thronged the Nima residence of the 2012 presidential candidate of the party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, yesterday, to congratulate and wish him well on his statesmanship position after the Supreme Court judgement.

The mission of Kwasi Pratt Jnr., who has constantly criticized the party for challenging the results of the 2012 general elections in court, was not immediately known, but he was seen at the periphery of the meetings which took place at Nana Akufo-Addo’s residence as he tried exchanging greetings with some party members who saw him.

Some supporters also took pictures with him as they mimicked his popular comments on radio.

Majority of supporters, who heard about his presence, could not be bothered as they focused their attention on their mission to the flagbearer's house.

Many supporters were wondering whether Kwesi Pratt Jnr., who was clad in a brown Kaftan, was genuinely there to commiserate with Nana Akufo-Addo or was sent there by his ‘paymasters’ to either nose around for some information for them or just to incur the displeasure of the NPP supporters for him to make a case out of it.

Pratt apparently told a journalist that he was there for news, but never had the chance to interact with the NPP leader.
