Hello football fans, the UEFA Champions League is back. The biggest club competition in the world makes a return with some interesting fixtures.
Sixteen teams are in the hunt for the most important cup in club football.
But we have two games for you today. Juventus will host English giants Tottenham while Manchester City makes a trip to Switzerland to battle FC Basel.
Juventus vs Tottenham Hostpur
Spurs boosted by a derby victory over Arsenal at Wembley over the weekend will be hoping to secure a favourable scoreline in Turin.
Juventus, on the other hand, are keen on continuing their impressive form. The Serie A champions have not lost a game since last November.
Juventus are expected to be without a number of key players with Paulo Dybala, Juan Cuadrado and Blaise Matuidi and Stephan Lichtsteiner unlikely to be involved in the game. Benedikt Howedes is also not in the Champions League squad.
Toby Alderweireld has been ruled out of the game as he continues the recovery from a long term injury.
Basel vs Manchester City
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City visit Basel on the back of an emphatic 5-1 victory over Leicester City.
The Citizens who have opened a 16-point gap in the English Premier League are the bookmaker’s favourite to win this game.
Swiss champions Basel will be motivated by the desire to upset the odds and record a victory over the English giants.
Basel coach Raphael Wicky looks likely to be without defensive midfielder Luca Zuffi and goalkeeper Germano Vailati.
Gabriel Jesus (knee), Benjamin Mendy (knee) and Leroy Sane (ankle) will all miss the game.
David Silva is also a doubt after missing Saturday's match with Leicester due to a hip issue.
The games start at 19:45
