The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II delivered a lecture at a British Museum Event in the United Kingdom on Friday, July 19, 2024.

The lecture, which was on the theme: Asante Culture and Heritage: Past and Present, reflected on events in Kumasi during the Asantehene’s Silver Jubilee this year, including the Homecoming exhibition at the Manhyia Palace Museum.

The Asantehene touched on a number of issues including the British government passing legislation to ensure that all artefacts that were looted from the Ashanti Kingdom are returned.
