The Appointments Committee of Parliament has commenced the vetting process for regional ministers following their nomination by President John Dramani Mahama.
John Kwadwo Gyapong, the Oti Regional Minister-designate, is the second nominee to face the committee out of the four nominees scheduled to be vetted today.
He will be assessed by the committee to evaluate his qualifications and expertise.
Gyapong won the regional chairmanship for two consecutive times in the Oti Region.
He is the dean of the 16 regional chairmen of the NDC and held various leadership positions within the party.
His experience and expertise will undoubtedly be valuable assets in his new role.
