A thanksgiving service will be held at St. Cyprian’s Anglican Church in Kumasi to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the return of King Prempeh I from his years of exile.
The service also marks the climax of the 25th-anniversary celebration of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
The event has been graced by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the President of Seychelles, the Prime Minister of Eswatini, as well as President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The President of Seychelles, Wavel Ramkalawan, who is an Anglican priest, is expected to deliver the sermon at the service.
