La Nmati Dzarase Noryaa Manye (Development Queen Mother) Naa Ofamota Otsejen I, was part of the dignitaries who graced the 2024 Sempe Homowo festival in Ga Mashie, Accra.

The durbar at the Sempe Mantse Palace brought together chiefs, queen mothers, leaders from the Muslim communities, and representatives of political parties.

The Homowo durbar is aimed at preserving the rich culture, heritage, and values of the Ga people as well as creating a synergy between traditional and political
authorities for the development of the Ga states.

Speaking on the sidelines of the Durbar, Naa Ofamota Otsejen I encouraged the GaDangbes to uphold their culture and tradition at all times and promote it whenever necessary.

She added that the culture and tradition of the GaDangbe people are a gift from God, and their beauty is exceptional, hence the need for all Gas to hold them with the dignity and respect they deserve.

Naa Ofamota Otsejen I also called on them to forge ahead in unity, peace, and love to enhance development in the GaDangbe areas.

This, among others, she noted, will encourage the next generation to follow the same path and live in peace and harmony.

She used the occasion to wish all GaDangbes a happy and prosperous Homowo and assured them and Ghanaians at large that the Naa Ofamota Otsejen I Angel Smile Foundation will expand in its generosity in the coming year to ensure that her support reaches many in society.
