Latest On Grace Coleman’s Case

A US Court trying the case involving the daughter of former deputy Finance Minister, Grace Coleman will give its ruling on 11th November. The Federal Court in Atlanta was to have sentenced Barbara Coleman-Blackwell and her husband last Thursday.

The court convicted the two on charges of sending a Ghanaian woman from Ghana to the United States illegally and forcing her to work as a domestic servant and nanny without pay. Mrs Coleman told JOY FM that she was informed about the postponement on Wednesday.

She also denied earlier media reports that she was standing trial with her daughter. According to her, President Kufuor ordered an investigation to establish her involvement in the case and there has been no word about the outcome.
