A delegation of Ga Chiefs led by the Sempe Mantse, Nii Odote Obour 2nd Acting President Ga Traditional Council and Nii Dodoo Nsakei 2nd Otubluhum Mantse will leave for the Untied Kingdom on 25th September. The Fund will be launched in London and Luton with fanfare, drumming and civic pride.
The highlight of the visit is the setting up of the Ga Educational Fund in United Kingdom the brainchild of Appiah Danquah Kufuor ? Director Planet Associates Consultancy Ltd the organizer of the trip.
The Sempe Mantse will meet with Bedfordshire & Luton Chamber of Commerce to discuss potential investment opportunities in the tourist and hotel industry in Accra; visit Liverpool Maritime Museum and the Liverpool Waterfront Housing Development landmark regeneration project which has transformed the waterfront of Liverpool into a thriving and booming economic center with a view of setting up a similar project in Accra, meet with the Ga Adangbe Association in United Kingdom and Ghanaian students in Liverpool
A Civic reception will be held for the Ga Chiefs delegation by the Luton National Arts Carnival Development Trust a ?6m European supported national and International Centre, which is set to change the cultural and creative landscape of Luton. They will meet with other civic leaders the Lord Mayor of Liverpool and the Deputy Lord Mayor of Luton and visit the picturesque and scenic town of Southport.
