The Reverend Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, an International Evangelist and President of the worldwide Miracle Outreach, would be installed an Honorary Canon of the Anglican Church.

This would be done on September 23, 2017 at St. Cyprian’s Anglican Cathedral, Kumasi.

The installation service would be conducted by the Most Reverend Dr Daniel Yinka Sarfo, Primate and Metropolitan Archbishop of the Province of West Africa and the Bishop of Kumasi.

This was disclosed to GNA at Dodowa during a Dodowa Traditional Council meeting, chaired by Normesi Mantse Nene Teye Kwesi Agyemang V, the Chief of Dodowa.

Nene Agyeman V said it was an honour for the Shai State for one of its sons to be honoured by an international religious organisation such as the Anglican Church.

In attendance would be the Asantehene, Osei Tutu II, who would be the Special Guest of Honour, with former President John Agyekum Kufuor and former President Jerry John Rawlings gracing the occasion.

It is usually awarded in recognition of long and dedicated service to the diocese.

Honorary canons are members of the chapter in name but are non-residential and receive no emoluments. Those conferred are entitled to call themselves Canon and may have a role in the administration of the cathedral.
