Hohoe, Aug 17, GNA - Mr Isaac Boamah, Lay-Pastor of the Hohoe branch of the Light House Chapel International on Sunday called on leadership, be it political or otherwise to seek divine intervention, to succeed in leading the flock.
"Leadership on the African continent, Ghana and our various places of work must depend largely on the word of God, to exemplify the love for one another and gain the selfless leadership qualities of Christ Jesus," he said.
Mr Boamah was preaching the homily under the theme "Power of the Word of God" at the Eagles Chapel in the Hohoe Municipality. He said leadership and especially politicians must exude truthfulness, transparency and accountability, which are cardinal principles of God.
Mr Boamah said God magnified his name above all other names and the power of the word of God, which grants knowledge, wisdom and the capacity to lead could only be attained by seeking first his kingdom and all others shall be added.
He said wisdom of mankind was fruitless if the wisdom of God, which lies in his word, was not sought by all.
Mr Boamah prayed for a peaceful general elections and advised Christians and Ghanaians at large to refrain from being appendages of violence before, during and after the elections.
