The running mate of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has called on his compatriots to ensure that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) earns 85% of the votes in the Ashanti Region.

According to him, this feat can only be achieved if there is unity within the political party.

“We said we wanted 75% of the votes in the Ashanti Region but I stand here today and call on all of us to give the NPP an 85% victory in the 2024 elections. We need to ensure that we go door-to-door and house-to-house to ensure that this is achieved.

We have to show gratitude to Nana Akufo-Addo who has been Ghana’s best President in the country’s history. A resounding victory from especially the Ashanti Region will be of absolute gratitude to Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Dr Mahamudu Bawumia which will also be of benefit to me,” he said.

On his selection as running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh admonished the youth to sacrifice for the political party.

He indicated that it may take time but their sacrifices will not be in vain as they will receive the results needed with time.

The man popularly known as NAPO called on all youth of the political party to work and be patient for their time.
